My Gander Mountain Ruger LCP Score

Showed up when they opened, 3pm. Waited in line for about an hour to get the background check and everything.

Bought two LCP's, $299 each plus i got $60 in "gander bucks" for each one, so I got $120 to go back and spend before xmas on extra mags and ammo or holster whatever.

Bought one for me one for the wife, not too bad of a score!

How does the trigger feel. I always though it was a little too far foreward making it a little inconvienent to get your finger in fast.

The trigger isn't too bad for me, being a small weapon it's not a huge reach. However I can already tell I'm going to have a hell of time not anticipating the shot, the trigger pull is LONG and it seems hard to bot anticipate it, but hopefully I will break myself of it at the range.

Yes Gander had a bunch of guns on sale, if you bought thanksgiving day you got $20 "gander bucks" for every $100 you spend. That money has to be spent before 12/25 so I am going back wed to get a couple mags and maybe a pocket holster or something.

My wife has a pocket in her purse so she is set there. I did have a bit of a time finding ammo, but found some decent deals online, although not from my usual ammo suppliers.

Sorry for the delay in reply mick, with everything going on I didn't get an email that a reply had been made!

The far reaching trigger and long pull is the safety. For a pocket gun, I don't mind it.

I will stick with the J-frames for pocket guns

I would make love to my lcp if I could, but the barrel is too big. It would be like throwing a hotdog down a hallway.
